Tailormade Logistics Returns to Family Ownership and Ready for an Ambitious Future

Tailormade Logistics, headquartered in Ghent, is returning to family ownership. The company, founded in 1996 by Bert Vandecaveye, announces that its private equity partner, Kebek, is selling its 68.5% stake to Malo Ventures, the family holding of Kelly De Dijcker and Pieter Balcaen.
Since 2006, Tailormade Logistics has benefited from the support of external investors, first through the KBC Arkiv fund and later through Kebek, an independent Belgian private equity fund investing in mid-sized companies with high growth potential. Thanks to this collaboration, the company has grown from a revenue of €10 million to nearly €200 million today.
Bert Vandecaveye, founder of Tailormade Logistics, will remain as CEO and shareholder. Together with Kelly De Dijcker and Pieter Balcaen, he has chosen a long-term vision that brings the family DNA, local roots, and core values back to the forefront.

Kelly De Dijcker and Pieter Balcaen are no strangers to the transport and logistics industry. In 2022, they sold their stake in ECS (European Containers). As co-CEOs, they transformed ECS in ten years from a small transport company into an international logistics player with a turnover of €500 million. Their extensive experience at ECS now enables them to bring valuable knowledge and expertise to TML.

Today, Tailormade Logistics operates in 8 European countries, with more than 20 logistics platforms, 1,500 trailers, and over 600 trucks.
